Arundel Mansion Hotel
Dear Travellers,

Ease yourself into New Westminster BC amidst the country-house comfort of our elegant hotel style suites, which are splendidly located in the heart of the Edwardian era. New Westminster, once the end of the rail line and once the capital city of British Columbia is set amidst a panorama of coastal mountains next to the Fraser River with a now famous boardwalk. There are many interesting sights and buildings.

Arundel Mansion, built in 1910 (and still a work in progress sponsored by the City of New Westminster), offers luxury suites very comfortably sleeping two to four people. Each is an example of the 'craftsman' period of architecture with big bay windows, high ceilings, wood floors and the built in buffets have stained glass doors. Not everyone will appreciate the anachronistic charm that can be found in this building, we are making every effort to avoid the obviously modern. However, we have free wireless Internet connection. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and appliances and there are both 'kitchen' and 'dining' china and cutlery. Every bathroom, which comes complete with shower, can take you back to an almost forgotten time. 20 minutes by skytrain takes you to the heart of downtown Vancouver, 25 minutes by road to the airport and 25 minutes to the ferries. Please tell us in advance if you have any great quantity of luggage.

We have an aircraft and because we are familiar with the needs of pilots and can provide a pick up from any of the local airfields, and assistance with pilot needs.

Restaurants, shops, bars, night club, buses and skytrain are only a stone's throw away. Nearby are Douglas College, Royal Columbian Hospital, London Eye Clinic, Sprott-Shaw College, Justice Institute and the New Westminster Court House. Arundel Mansion is conveniently situated in downtown New Westminster far from the turbulence of eastside Vancouver.

We accept Mastercard, Visa at the prevailing rate. From time to time we offer "specials", so be sure to phone or Send Us an Email to check our current offerings.

Your hosts,

Myrna and Glynn Ball
